Spark Cookies- Lemon or Chocolate Alfajor

Our lemon alfajores are a unique take on the classic Argentinian cookie. They are a delicious addition to any gathering or a simple treat after a long day. To make this version, we add a thin layer of lemon icing over our buttery shortbread cookies and fill them with rich dulce de leche. They are simultaneously sweet, tart, and filled with melt-in-your-mouth goodness. 

Chocolate makes everything better. The same can be said about alfajores. Another spin on the classic Argentinian alfajor, this chocolate version adds another layer of rich flavor to this already delicious cookie. To make our chocolate alfajor, we start with two crumbly chocolate cookies, fill them with rich dulce de leche, and cover them in a thin layer of chocolate. Sound amazing? That’s because they are.
